I have worked in archives for various UK cultural institutions, in archivist and digitisation-based positions. These include the Courtauld Institute of Art, The Photographers’ Gallery, and the British Film Institute. See my about page for more info.

From November 2023 to March 2024 I am interning at the Tokyo Arts Council,
in a research-based position to help expand and re-design the Tokyo Museum Collections (ToMuCo) database and website.

personal research

I have an ongoing research project stemming from my MA in History of Design at the V&A Museum and Royal College of Art, London (2020-2021). Focusing on Japanese handmade papers - specifically, a kind produced to imitate leather during the Edo period- as an early form of plant-based leather alternative.
