I am an Art Director at Tokyo Weekender magazine; designing and overseeing visual content for the magazine’s web and print output.
PREVIOUSLY
Digital archiving researcher at Tokyo Arts Council (2023).
Before this, I lived in London and worked as Digitisation Manager at the Courtauld Institute of Art (2022), Archivist at The Photographers’ Gallery (2019-2021), and Special Collections Coordinator at the British Film Institute (2018-2019).

2022-2024: Daiwa scholarship from the Daiwa Anglo Japanese Foundation to study + work in Japan.
2021: Anthony Gardner research funding from the V&A Museum‘s Asia department, for research into kakishibu application on Japanese washi paper.
2022: MA History of Design at the Royal College of Art +
V&A Museum, London.
Main focus: Japanese paper + traditional design objects.
2014: BA (Hons) Visual Communication at Leeds Arts University.
Main focus: graphic design + illustration.
2021: Re-imagining Museums for Climate Action
